Vision
Contemporary civilization stands at a crossroads, confronting urgent threats to our climate and the sustainability of our energy systems. We aim to meet these challenges by driving materials innovation through simulation-based research that spans from quantum-accurate first-principles calculations to large-scale atomistic simulations, guided by machine learning interatomic potentials that bridge accuracy and efficiency across scales. By further integrating generative artificial intelligence, we fransform materials discovery from trial-and-error into a directed, data-driven process, accelerating the design of next-generation materials for energy, catalysis, and beyond.
